| 9YFQ series trans-row picker-square-balers (square balers or balers for short) can harvest not only pastures but also the straws of various crops. With more and more straws of crops are used as feedstuffs and in biofuel production, these balers find wider applications because they are easy to operate and transport, and substantially cut costs. |

| As compared to a conventional baler (side traction), the machine has the following features: | |
| ★ The machine adopts the knotter imported from Germany, ensuring stable performance and high successful baling ratio; | |
| ★ Longitudinally symmetrical arrangement of the implements ensures high traveling stability, traction ease, and adaptability to operation in small or irregular fields; |
|
| ★ Low horizontal spring-tooth-drum-type picker enables reduction to lifting height and pasture loss. The picker is equipped with two contour wheels thus the machine can operate in low-lying field segments. |
|
| ★ The compacting and baling chamber and the baling needle are sufficiently above the field hence the baling needle may not contact even the low-lying field segments. Conventional protective frame is therefore cancelled for baling needle; |
|
| ★ From being picked to being baled the pasture moves longitudinally in the machine. The processes of delivering, compacting and baling are reasonable and good for increasing piston reciprocating frequency thus productivity. |
